As a student or parent, don’t you want to have a voice in your community? Don’t you want to be able to say that you came up with fresh and exciting ideas for ways to help those in your community?
Parents, don’t you want to provide your children with positive activities? Don't you want to be able to say that you played an active role in your child being successful?
High schoolers, don’t you want to be able to say that you meant something to someone-that you were a positive role model? Don't you want to be able to say to those in higher education and the workforce that you were involved in your community and have developed skills that will lead you through life?
Middle schoolers, don’t you want to develop leadership skills as well as have fun all at the same time? Don't you want to be involved in coming up with activities for both you and all of your friends to be involved in?
The place for all of this to happen is the Youth Development Center in Winchester. You have the chance to have a voice. You have the opportunity to make a difference.
Get involved in the Student and Parent Boards.
The High School Board will come together on March 4th at 6:30 PM. We'll put our heads together and come up with ideas on how to make current YDC events better and more exciting, as well as brainstorm new ideas. All High Schoolers are welcome to attend. Bring a friend!
The Middle School Board will meet on March 5th at 6:00 PM to talk about upcoming events and brainstorm new ideas. Attendees will get into YSpace for free. All Middle Schoolers are invited. Bring a friend!
The Parent Board will meet on Thursday, March 4th at 1:00 PM. We'll be discussing upcoming events and how we can better them, along with brainstorming new ideas. All parents are invited to attend!
